It was the most magical time of the year at our 12th Day of Christmas in January. The annual gala brings nearly 300 wounded warriors and families, sponsors, major donors, VIPS and other community representatives to enjoy an afternoon of live music, storybook characters, photos with Santa, games, gingerbread house contests, the Liberty Bells and a delicious holiday dinner. This event brings joy to so many of our keiki and wonderful memories for the entire family. ‘Iolani School’s Raiders for Wounded Warriors provided each child with gifts, door prizes, face painting, and so much more. The high schoolers volunteer their time for this event. We had a special visit by our Mayor Rick Blangiardi, who greeted the guests and provided inspiring remarks.
Mahalo to KHON2 and KITV for the wonderful coverage of the event!
