Wounded Warrior Ohana held its annual Paddle and Picnic at the Honolulu Elks Lodge 616 in September. The event was named for the late Maj Gen Frank Tate, a former WWO board member who loved to paddle. WWO President Dick Rankin handed out scholarship certificates to very deserving Gold Star family members. Mahalo to the Elks Lodge for providing a delicious lunch buffet and to Kumulokahi Canoe Club for providing canoes and the many volunteers who assisted our wounded warriors.
